Norwex Cleaning Paste - INGREDIENTS:

...... the Cleaning Paste ingredient list is one of the many reasons why I love it.  It only has 4 ingredients, and I can pronounce them all!  I also know that the ingredients were not manufactured in a chemist lab, but come from natural sources. 

A little about the Norwex Cleaning Paste:
Norwex Cleaning Paste is an environmentally and skin-friendly cleaner that replaces all of your chemical abrasive cleaners, like Comet. This polishing agent cleans, polishes and protects in one application. It contains absolutely no poisons, phosphates or acids. 

It can be used on surfaces and materials made of...

• painted surfaces

How to use: The cleaning paste is not creamy or shakable - it's hard and compact in the container.  The best way that I've found to use it, is to take the "sharp" edge of the lid and scrape some of the paste into a little pile, so that you can  dab a wet microfiber cloth into it.  Rub the cleaning paste onto the surface you want to clean and polish. Rinse afterward with water, and dry with a clean enviro cloth. The result is a clean, shiny surface that lasts.
WARNING: While the Cleaning Paste is very gentle, you should always test on an inconspicuous surface if you are concerned about the possibility of scratching.

The Norwex Cleaning Paste is a must have for your bathroom (great for really stubborn soap scum, rust stains hard water spots and build up), and of course for your kitchen (sink, stove top, pots and pans, stainless steel appliances).  I have found that the Norwex Cleaning Paste not only cleans my kitchen sink - getting rid of all the build up  - but it also prevents the build from returning as quickly and my sink stays cleaner longer.

At first I thought that maybe I was just overly enthusiastic about Norwex, and therefore imaging this, so I decided to do a little experiment:

I cleaned one side of the sink with good ol' Comet, and the other side with the Norwex Cleaning Paste.  Both did a great job of cleaning, but the test was "how long would the sink stay clean"?  After about a week, it was clear that the Norwex Cleaning Paste did indeed help protect the surface of my sink from "holding onto grunge" - the Norwex side was cleaner after a week of use.  I'm not sure which of the 4 ingredients is responsible for this lovely benefit - I'm thinking maybe the coconut oil????  But it doesn't really matter - the point is, it works and works very well!

I've had some customers say that they would love to try it, but at $28 for a small container, it's just too expensive.  I thought the same thing before I bought it.  Because the paste is so compact, there isn't the tendency to use too much for the job.  I've had my present container for close to a year, and I still have over 3/4 left.  It lasts far longer than it's store brand counterparts, and is so much better for your health - a very economical and effective purchase!

The Norwex Bathroom Scrub Mitt is quickly becoming one of my FAVORITE Norwex products, and although it's name doesn't indicate it, this little mitt works all over the house, not just in the bathroom!

The Norwex Bathroom Scrub Mitt is a hybrid of the Norwex Dusting Mitt and the Norwex Kitchen Scrub Cloth, in the form of a mitt - a PERFECT solution for quick and efficient cleaning.


The scrubby half of the mitt is great for removing stuck on soap scum, hard water build up (especially great with the Norwex Descaler), and general bathroom grungies.  Although it feels like it might scratch, it won't - it is completely safe for all smooth surfaces (I still recommend doing a test scrub in an inconspicuous place before going crazy with it).  When you're done getting the tough stuff off, you just flip the mitt, and the reverse side (a plush microfiber weave) will clean and disinfect your surfaces to a shine!  Of course, all of this needs to be done with water.

When I clean my tub and shower, I use it sopping wet at first - for both the scrub side and the soft side - I find this fast and highly effective for getting it clean.  When I'm done, I rinse and wring out the mitt, and then wipe over all the surfaces again with the damp soft side.  This removes all the excess water so your tub and shower will dry without water marks or streaks. 

As I mentioned earlier, this nifty mitt is not only for bathrooms -  I use it all over the house, for general wiping.  Although I love my Enviro Cloth, I find that the Bathroom Scrub Mitt is much faster and easier for wiping down light switches, door handles, dirty wall spots, cupboard fronts etc. - anything that little, sticky, food covered fingers like to touch!  It stays on my hand very well (and I have little wee hands), and doesn't go all bunchy like the enviro cloths do when doing lots of little jobs.  The scrubby side comes in handy for getting off dried on food bits from those light switches.....ewww!

A customer of mine informed me that the Bathroom Scrub Mitt is also REALLY great for cleaning floors:

"I loved using the Bathroom Scrub Mitt for my bathtub, and sink, but loved it even more when I decided to use it to do a quick clean of the bathroom floor, (I didn't want to go to the trouble of pulling the mop out).  It was so easy and incredibly effective.  The scrubby side got up all the mystery spots that needed a little more elbow grease, and the plush microfiber side grabbed up all the dirt from the floor.  It also made it easy to wash the baseboards and lower parts of the walls.  I also appreciated that it didn't get all bunchy in my hand while I was cleaning....a mitt for washing the floor is a brilliant idea!"  (Erin, Edmonton AB)

This same customer mentioned another great feature about the Bathroom Scrub Mitt - it's very practical for anyone who suffers with arthritis in their hands because you don't have to hold it and bend your fingers/joints to use it - just slide you hand in and scrub!  Logically then, the Norwex Dusting Mitt would also be an asset for arthritis sufferers!

I haven't tried it yet, (because it only gets done twice a year!), but I imagine that the scrub mitt would be great for cleaning the inside of you vehicles!!!  Has anyone out there tried this, or have you found any other great uses for this product?  I'd love to hear!
